Valeria is a London based architectural designer, artist and teacher.
​
She gained valuable professional experience at a series of architecture and design practices, most recently working as a freelance designer at art and design collective, Assemble.
She has a particular interest in the narrative-led aspects of design, including installations, theatre and set design, which stems from her academic work and continued in her professional practice, including a short assistant position at Es Devlin's design studio and a long term involvement with brand experience design agency, Amplify.

As well as installation work, Valeria has solid experience working on large and complex architecture and infrastructure projects across RIBA work stages 1 to 6. Past employers include 5th Studio, Hawkins\Brown and Asif Khan.

She is currently progressing a personal research and art practice which reflects her involvement in a postgraduate design studio at the Birmingham School of Architecture and Design focusing on the theatricality of the city. She co-led the studio between 2020 and 2022.
Valeria holds a First Class degree in BA (Hons) Architecture from the Manchester School of Architecture (2016) and an MA in Architecture from the Royal College of Art (2019). Her thesis project was nominated for the AJ Postgraduate Student Award in 2019 and was featured in Wallpaper Magazine's 2020 Graduate Directory. She was also a finalist in the Hungarian Epiteszforum Magazine's Media Architecture Award (Media Epiteszeti Dija) 2020.
